Question
What are your thoughts on conspiracy theories, UFOs and Srila Prabhupada’s prophecies for the future?
Answer

Our general principle is that we accept what is favorable for devotional service and reject what is unfavorable.
1. Of course there are very rich and powerful people who want absolute control. The 16th chapter of the Gita explains this. However, a real fact is that the modern world is out of control. There is not a group, but several groups that want to control everything. In any case, even if there is a small group of very rich, materialistic people inclined to control, what would we do? Tell the world? The world doesn’t care much about this. Shastra and Prabhupada clearly teach us that in this era of Kali the only hope is the sankirtana movement. The hope is not that the few people who serve the Lord waste their time on conspiracy theories, which may or may not be true, instead of using their time to spread the sankirtana movement.
2. With respect to UFOs, unless these aliens decide to contact the public, what can be done? Moving lights were filmed. We can watch them a million times, but that will not save a single soul, or change the world.
3. Prabhupada made several predictions, some of which became real and others that did not. The glory of Prabhupada lies in the fact that he is a pure devotee of Krishna who saved us by bringing this pure Krishna consciousness to the world.
