Question
Is it Śukadeva Goswami Radhararani’s parrot? Because I find no evidence in sastra and from previous Acaryas, but some devotees and Swamis are saying that. What is your opinion about that?
Answer

Lord Caitanya, Jiva Goswami, and Prabhupada, emphasized the central importance of the Bhagavatam. The Bhagavatam explains that Suka is a great sage, and does not describe him as Radharani’s parrot. Of course the word Suka means ‘parrot,’ but many names mean many things. So personally, I think of Suka Goswami as a great sage.
