Religions of India Transcription Project Update III

Dear Devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada & Acharyadeva!

I am happy to announce that today I received our last batch of ten drafted transcriptions! That means, other than a handful of lectures currently assigned, we have roughly transcribed the entirety (over 67 hours) of Hridayananda das Goswami’s Religions of India classes.

That’s about 4,000 minutes of transcription work!!! And, by now, everyone realizes how much effort is required to transcribe just one minute, what to speak of 4,000!

None of this would have been possible without the steady service of our transcription team. It has truly been a glorious group effort. Please remember, just one month ago, we had less than 15 lectures transcribed. Today, we are nearly finished.

The following is our current status:

77 lectures have been transcribed
65 lectures have been edited-checked

3 lectures needing to be transcribed
15 lectures needing to be edited-checked

In order to reach our October 1st deadline, we need 15 transcriptions to be checked-for-accuracy. Thus, we’ll need EVERYONE to take on at least one more transcription in order to reach our goal. Again, if you have an outstanding transcription assignment (meaning it was sent to you over a week ago), please finish up ASAP so I can assign you a “freshie”!

Please know that your service and dedication brings unlimited joy to Acharyadeva’s heart. Hare Krishna!

Your servant,
Ali Krishna devi dasi
