On August 10, 2013, ISKCON Brazil will celebrate its 37th anniversary of the installation of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai deities in the Rio de Janeiro temple.

In honor of the upcoming celebration, Acharyadeva wrote the following statement:

Surely Sri Sri Gaura Nitai of Rio are very pleased with all the many devotees who have served them for 37 years. It is not a small thing to continue Deity worship year after year. Only true Vaishnavas with true devotion are able to continue to worship the Lord from one generation to the next. Many devotees cooked for the Deities. Many devotees performed puja. Many devotees cleaned the Lord’s temple. Many devotees sold Srila Prabhupada’s books to spread the Deity’s glories and to pay the temple expenses. Many devotees have offered sincere prayers to the Deities. Many devotees have chanted and danced and played musical instruments for the pleasure of the Deities.

All of these devotees are very dear to Srila Prabhupada and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai. I offer them all my thanks and congratulations.
