Dear Devotees,

As many devotees know, during their annual plenary meeting in Māyāpura, the GBC voted to “suspend indefinitely” the approval of qualified Vaiṣṇavī dīkṣā gurus in ISKCON. 

Many devotees, including many leaders are deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with this decision. It has generated significant unhappiness and concern. In a spirit of thoughtful dialogue and respect for our society’s future, I will explain in socio-historical and spiritual terms why I think the GBC decision is dangerous for ISKCON, now and in the future.

I will be joined by prominent Vaiṣṇavī leader Prabhupada Priya dd. We warmly invite you to join this important and timely conversation.
